Today, the Family Voice Action released its scorecard for the 2025 Legislative Session. The Family Voice scorecard gives a snapshot of where South Dakota legislators stand on issues impacting the family. Legislators were scored on 12 different pieces of legislation in their respective chambers.
Norman Woods, Director of Family Voice Action, outlined the importance of these scores:
“After every session we publish a scorecard to show which legislators stood strong for family values. Our scorecard shows the voting records of legislators on cultural issues and provides a measure of accountability. Our goal is to be a resource for citizens who want to engage with their elected officials and stay informed on their voting records.”
Family Voice Action encourages citizens to study the scorecard and use the information in discussions with their legislators. The elected leaders who stood up for family values deserve our support.
